Dental
Active duty personnel assigned to MacDill Air Force Base receive general and specialty dental care in our clinic. For routine or sick call appointments, please call us directly or come to the Dental Clinic.
Walk-in sick call for dental emergencies starts daily at 7 a.m. After duty hours and on weekends, a military dentist and technician are on call for dental emergencies. They can be reached by calling the clinic directly or dialing 813-828-2273, then follow the prompts for dental services.
Active duty personnel are scheduled for mandatory annual exams through their commander’s support staff or unit health monitor. We encourage you to enroll your family members in the
TRICARE Dental Program.
Dental Options Outside of Military Dental Clinics
For dental care outside of a military dental clinic, TRICARE offers dental coverage for service members, families and survivors. Additionally, retired service members, their families and certain survivors may qualify to purchase dental coverage through the Federal Employees Dental and Vision Insurance Program.
