Who We Serve 

Air Force Wounded Warrior serves active duty Airmen and Guardians who are seriously wounded, ill, or injured, and their families. 

Mission 

AFW2 coordinates the care and transition support of seriously wounded, ill, and injured Airmen or Guardians, and provides resources and support to their families. Depending on the service member’s goals, the transition can be back to active duty or, in the event of a service-disqualifying condition, to veteran status.
