Who We Serve
The Women’s Health Clinic serves active duty service members and other patients empaneled to the MacDill Clinic.
Mission
The Women’s Health Clinic is a self-referral clinic that provides gynecological care to adult females, from child-bearing age to geriatrics. Priority is given to active duty service members. As space allows, the clinic also provides care to dependents of active duty service members, DOD retirees, and their dependents.
We provide the following Women’s Health services:
- Well woman exams
- Birth control/contraception
- Hormone replacement therapy
- Menopause/perimenopause symptom management
- Gynecologic problem visits
- Preconception counseling
- Infertility
- Evaluation/treatment of abnormal bleeding
- IUD/Nexplanon insertion/removal (requires appointment for counseling)
- Cervical dysplasia
- Pregnancy (referred off-base)

TRICARE Covered Services
TRICARE covers well-woman exams annually for women under age 65 with no cost-share or copayment. TRICARE offers coverage for many women’s health services, including:
